this is going to take some getting used to

It's quarter past midnight in the garden of good and evil, if said garden is on Central DST. I've opted to move to Blogger for a simpler and less intruded-upon blogging experience. Made a mistake and ended up with two blogs, though of the two this is my preferred handle.

The disposable packaging remnants of dinner (Chili's-to-Go and Luby's) are all over the bed, as is Patrick. The room is comfortably cool for the first time all season, thanks to the new portable a/c. My own sleep schedule is shot: went to be last night at nine, woke up for no reason at 1 am and finally downed some sleeping pills and went back to bed at 2. The urgent ringing of the cell jarred me awake at 4:44. Luz: "Hi. Are you ready?" Hardly. We both were supposed to be at work at 5.

Luz, Blanca and I had seafood lunches at Luby's: baked almondine(sic), "Cajun étouffée" (redundant of course) and lemon basil salmon. We each left $2 tips for the nice waiter from El Salvador.

Luz dropped me off after work, and dropped a bomb too. It's too soon to post the revelation: i'll have to chew on it for a bit.

The latest gift from Harry and David was waiting at the doorstep. I took six apricots for Patrick and myself and gave the rest to Luz to share with Blanca tomorrow. Slept through the afternoon and woke up to a much cooler room after Patrick bought and set up the aircon. Happy happy. Got to play Guild Wars for a bit without the PCs overheating and shutting down, as they've been wont to do this past week.

hrrrmmmm... boo on you for not hearing the other songs i put on there! this is all music i downloaded (p2p network on-campus) during the school year. i don't have ordinary song, though. :( do you have any opm cds? i'm severely deprived. especially tagalog ones. i currently have/enjoy mymp, parokya, paolo santos (although sometimes he's just too sintonado for me), aaand freestyle.
